I got a beautiful GT3 from Texasmom last week, named Alice. I was so excited because she was going to be my 80's doll I've been wanting for months. Well this morning, before breakfast, she ended up in the ballet outift I was planning on selling. Well, she has decided that the outifit is hers and she wants to be a ballerina. To heck with the 80's thing, man. It's ballet. So, I took some pictures of her to post. I wasn't going to until I finished her makeover... but since that ain't happenin. Here they are:

That's too funny! Some dolls DO tend to have their own ideas about things. When Molly came to me from ebay months ago, I tried putting her in her own clothes. She'd have none of that, and informed me that she is Lisbeth, Kirsten's cousin. She has since worn pioneer clothes.
Fortunately, my Jess had no desire to wear modern attire and wanted to be a 1940s girl.
So all my bases are covered.

Wow, she's a beauty, and she looks to be in excellent condition! I'm sorry about your loss of an 80's girlie, but in her place you've got a pretty little ballerina Love that outfit on her too, it's a lovely color for her.

She's so cute. Hopefully, you'll find another doll to be an '80s girl, but for now, you have a cute dancer on your hands.

She's lovely! But surely ballerinas existed in the '80s? Maybe you can convince her to be both.

Thanks a bunch! Now my Angel (AGT3) wants a pink ballet outfit--and I'm afraid she's learning that I have a hard time denying her anything! She's so sweet, and it's fairly seldom that she asks for anything--but not as seldom as it used to be!

Hey, she could be a dancer from Fame. Just knit her a little pair of leg warmers and she'll fit right into the 80's!

What a pretty ballerina outfit! I've been eyeing the Bitty Ballerina for my 18". Your outfit is really cute. I agree with Juliette - can't you make her a dancer from the 80's?
